The edged weapon counter measure defence course is hard hitting and is for the public or security operatives. There are many courses that never deal with the harsh reality of defending against a knife, we do. This course is for everyone from those who are frightened of the possibilities, to those who have already been a victim of crime and those who study martial arts but want a more realistic approach to edge weapon awareness and defence.
Urban Kombat deals with the subject responsibly, practically, while teaching you a set of survival skills that actually work under pressure, on the street, where it counts. We teach skills and concepts that have been tried, tested.
The course has been designed by one of the world’s leading experts based martial arts and self-defence, with a background in security, and close protection. THE KNIFE AWARENESS COURSE
The course will be made up of instructor led discussions, demonstrations, and scenario replication (role play), to emphasise the importance of avoidance, distance, and awareness to edged weapons, using training knifes.
